I miss that place, was there at the Marine base for a year, job sucked, but my time in Japan was good.
I’ve been reading a book about the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Force in WWII.
Midway really screwed them up.
I was surprised at the number of their pilots who were not college graduates.
I’m not sure that they had enough bombers.
They also seemed to have a problem protecting their bombers.
They really didn’t like the P-51.
