Banning travel to/from other states of this “union”. Can a disillusion of the union be far behind?
But that's not what they did.
They banned STATE-FUNDED travel to Ohio. When's the last time the state paid for your travel?
This would only impact government and possibly non-profit (since they may receive state funds for their operations) employees from traveling to Ohio on official business. Wonder how many that might have been in this day of Zoom meetings? Two, if they're lucky. Probably none.
Just to be clear, they’re just banning travel that is funded by the state - no impact on travel by private citizens. That’s the only way it could be constitutional/legal.
