China is a Paper Dragon. China’s wealth is an illusion, a Ponzi scheme. Most of China’s wealth is in the value they give on their land and developed properties. They use the land as collateral to borrow even more money. The problem is they use the new money to service the debt on earlier loans.
Sort of like someone with multiple credit cards borrowing on one to pay the minimum on the others.
It would be one thing if the property and buildings being build were of good quality, but they are not. Corruption is built into the system until there is no money to actual build with good material.

Bottom line, China is facing a debt crisis. The virus that escaped from their labs will end up hurting China more then the West.
Once our elite finally quit playing god with our lives most western countries will re-bound (think of the years following WWII) while because of China’s political model they will be left behind once again.
At least that is my view of the world I am sure you have your own.
