The Green Party has lost more than 50 members since the weekend, according to a report by news group Uutissuomalainen, after the party voted in favour of an initiative calling for the legalisation of cannabis in Finland.
The initiative was approved by a very narrow margin of 183 votes to 181, and has sparked widespread debate over the issue in the days since the vote.

Literally dozens.
Smoking rules apply where I live same as tobacco.
But you have to be 21 to use tobacco whereas cannabis is 18 or even younger with a caregiver.
And you have to be 21 to use alcohol because it always causes brain damage.
Alcohol-related brain damage alters both the structure and function of the brain as a result of the direct neurotoxic effects of alcohol intoxication or acute alcohol withdrawal. Increased alcohol intake is associated with damage to brain regions including the frontal lobe,[1] limbic system, and cerebellum,[2] with widespread cerebral atrophy, or brain shrinkage caused by neuron degeneration. This damage can be seen on neuroimaging scans
Wikipedia
APARTMENTS: Landlords put no smoke/vape lease provisions in lease. Potheads flock to such buildings. Landlords hard pressed to prove violation. Even in rare cases violation can be proved and rarer cases where it even goes to court: pothead tells judge "no longer smoking pot", judge replies "breach is cured, case dismissed." As a result landlords rarely bother.
PUBLIC USE RESTRICTIONS: Law enforcement has more difficulty proving use than possession. Pothead not deterred by sheer fine. In court pothead tells judge "I was eating a sucker" judge says "dismissed."
Meanwhile millions of people including children are forced to inhale THC day and night.
Only criminal prohibition of possession, vigorously enforced, provides recourse against forced secondhand THC dosage.
Sounds like a local issue.
Their disrespect of local laws shall not impede on my rights granted by state elections.
But, on the topic of brain damage, here is what POT does:
A NIDA-funded brain imaging study has shown that regular users of marijuana have less gray matter than nonusers of the drug in the orbitofrontal cortex (OFC), a brain region that contributes to impulse control, decision-making, and learning. Such a deficit could make it more difficult to change counterproductive behaviors, including drug use.
Note your statement "always causes brain damage" is from the non-peer review article you shared elsewhere. The quote from wikipedia does not support that statement. But again, I couldn't care less because it's the drinker's problem not mine.
It’s not a “local” issue. It pertains to the inherent difficulties of low deterrence (simple fines) and proving use vs. proving possession.
This is very seriously what I think about your "rights" vs my right not to be force drugged by sleazeball potheads.
Which is especially true with a DRUG that the sleazeballs are hooked on so much many of them get up at 5 AM to smoke it even when they have nowhere to go. They need to use it all day and night.
It’s no different than misusing firearms and now you want to take them from all owners.
I’m licensed by the state and adhere to their generous policies
If some derelict in some other state is abusing their law I don’t really give a flip and neither does my state. Not my problem and I’m not taking any crap from weed Karens for what someone else does.
Compares to firearms HOW?
Alcohol is enough of a tangent. Now you’re citing firearms for even more specious arguments.
Your drug is chiefly airborne!!!!!
Or do you only take edibles?
