What has been FORGOTTEN is where the CLINTON Administration and the Bush_v_Gore Legal battle opened the window of opportunity for these attacks. Remember the "Chinese Wall" that Clinton political appointees erected that kept the CIA from informing the FBI? Remember Clinton refusing to go after Osama when he was offered but later he bombed the aspirin factory?
Remember how the Florida 2000 made the transition from Clinton to Bush so epically and deliberately snarled? From removing the 'w' keys to fighting Cabinet and Executive appointments that caused Bush'43 to have antagonistic swamp creatures in DC and a disrupted chain-of-command right up to 09/11/2001!
Look how little these things are remembered! That lack of communication known as the "Chinese Wall" is one of the PRIME things that brought forth that obscenity we call Homeland Security / HSA! Do I blame Bush'43 for any things? You betcha, BUT, I also remember near-forgotten history and that explains a lot of his actions!

A lot of the theme was about how unified Americans became. Then it dawned on me that that unity fell apart when the story portrayed GWB in a better light as leader. The press and Dems couldn’t have that. They also couldn’t have a true AAR of the events that led up to the attacks and turned on Bush in a big way. Almost nothing is said about Jamie Gorelick’s wall that prohibited various intelligence agencies from sharing intel. Not the tack that Clinton passed up an opportunity to take out Ben Laden. Nothing like that. Twenty years later, what has really changed???

Gorlich’s wall affected many other investigations also. Marty Frankel had embezzled $3 Billion dollars from insurance companies and he was located in Greenwich, CT. The local FBI was investigating him but did not share the information with any other FBI groups. In Corinth, Mississippi, Frankel had acquired associates that were affiliated with the Ms Speaker of the House and was laundering his money in the North Mississippi area. The local FBI and US Marshalls were oblivious to the laundering. It was almost a year later when the FBI finally put the information together. Most of the men and women that laundered the money were able to keep their ill gotten gains.

The reason for the wall constructed by Gorelick was to stop coordination of intelligence between domestic and international intelligence agencies wrt the foreign (ChiCom) financing of the Clinton campaigns for President. That lack of coordination is what led to the inability of military intelligence to share what it had learned through Able Danger with the FBI. The result of that compartmentalization(?) of intelligence was the attack.
Gorelick and Spector then proceeded to marginalize and hide the Able Danger program while on the 9/11 cOmmission.
P.S.....funny that “Chinese wall” would bring up Chinese restaurants in/on Clinton during your search since so much illegal ChiCom cash came to Slick’s campaigns through his buddy Charley Trie’s Chinese restaurant.

You had Arabs/Muslims living with known radical Imams in San Diego. You had Arabs/Muslims telling flight instructors they had no interest in landing and airplane, you had Arabs/Muslims overstaying visas, you had Arabs/Muslims getting drunk and threatening people at a bar with destruction, you had Arabs/Muslims standing outside airport security checkpoints for hours on end studying what weapons they could get through, the FBI knew of Arabs/Muslims having the outline of some terror plot - but no one did anything.
It was all due to Americans newly learned fear of political correctness.
