I expect evil from Demonrat Sinators, but it is outrageous what we tolerate from Republicans who work hand in glove in sabotaging our nation and Constitution.

Either he was lying in the first place about his agenda, got assimilated, or the Derp State dug some dirt up on him to keep him in line. Good riddance.

No senator retires at 59 unless they know their political career is over — or has been ended, as the case may be.

China money or a China doll. All it takes is one indiscretion and they pull your chain for the rest of your life.

It’s a good question. I did think he was one of the better ones many years ago so no idea what happened. Sadly there are a lot of his ilk.

The jerk doesn’t get it. The easiest way to encourage Trump to not run is to support Trumpism. It’s very simple.

Nice summation of Spector’s career.

“Going out the same way Arlen Spector did — bitter and without a political home.”

Astute observation. Can’t these guys just retire and keep their mouth shut?

“Sock-it” should be focusing on his family life not some political what-if three years in the future.

Pat probably wants Mitt as president, perhaps a bigger putz than Slojo Bite-me. Mitt on Air Force one with his dog on the roof, that’s the ticket.

Toomey loves stolen elections.

We _get_ it.

Then came the Clinton and Obama years where Specter became a useful idiot to the left. Very strange. He should have exited politics while he was on top.

I lost nearly all my respect for Spector.

At age 80, in a desperate attempt to win his last election in 2010, he switched to being a Democrat. That did not help him much, as he still lost in the primary.

I really do not understand why these old duffers (of both sexes) fight tooth-and-nail to hold on to power when these are over 75. Especially in Spector’s case as, beyond being old. he was grappling with cancer.
