obama had a majority in congress during most of his term. The armed forces committee handles promotions and that’s how we got all the leftist generals.
Trump also had a majority congress for most of his term but the armed services committee didn’t fix the situation. Probably because Russia, Russia, Russia. Jim Inhofe was the chair and for one congressional term, McCain was co-chair.
During the short time repubs had majority congress under obama, McCain was chair of the armed services committee.
They all need to be replaced except for maybe 4-5.
