The only thing Afghanistan need is hundreds of thousands of more bombs falling from the sky.
We need 100,000 US troops guarding the US border.
Now.
End of story.
If we can’t defend our own border we have no business sending troops anywhere.
That is like scouting the neighborhood for bad guys while leaving the back door wide open...
Either way those folks are screwed.
More troops means more dead troops and no end in sight.
Almost as if the military industrial complex has planned all of this so they can go back to milking that taxpayer cow with all those contracts.

I have not read about the leadership of the Taliban.
I don’t know their names or their beliefs.
I don’t know that the US has to fight these people.

Should women have the ability to go to college? High school? grade school?
Are you going to keep foreign terrorists out of your country?
Are you going to put an end to opium production for the intoxication market?
What are your plans for mercy for those that have worked for the previous government in good faith? as intelligence officers? as military commanders? as simple soldiers? as police officers? as civilian jailers? as military jailers? as politicians? as bureaucrats? tax collectors? public school teachers of young women?
What is being done to stop forced marriages?

And the VERY BEST way for the Taliban to humiliate America again right away would be for the Taliban to become The Premier, 5-Star, Diamond Class, Condé Nast rated Portage and Airport Shuttle service on the face of all planet Earth; catering almost exclusively to Americans in Afghanistan.
There is almost NOTHING that would BURY the Biden Administration more deeply in abject humiliation than for the Taliban to — with a level of service surpassing any luxury resort on the planet — locate, pack, and convey stranded Americans to Kabul airport, and oversee their utmost safety until they are in flight leaving Afghanistan airspace.
If the Taliban REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to humiliate Biden — and they bloody well do — they should do what this Administration has utterly failed to do, and do it at a level of luxury that this Administration would NEVER DREAM of employing; not just “let” Americans leave Afghanistan, but ESCORT them out with unsurpassed “white glove” treatment.

Peggy is an armchair pundit. She has no experience of her own in serious policy study or policy analysis. It does not mean she can never be right, but in her opinions I just do not classify her has an authority. I can never forgive her politically for backing Obama.
She’s arrogant enough to think that the Taliban reads her drivel and might be persuaded by it.
