Here’s my take on what’s been going on:

1. Biden never wanted to travel to Washington this week at all.

2. His team was ready and able to hold any of those Soviet-style press briefings in his basement — perhaps even by video conference.

3. The political optics of this senile retardate hiding from his job have alarmed the Democratic leadership.

4. They did some rapid polling and test group research and decided that holding a live “team” press briefing with other administration flacks like Harridan Harris and that dope Tony Blinken would carry the most weight.

5. They originally wanted to do these press briefings in Delaware.

6. A whole bunch of the people involved — including Harris and most of the press corps — refused to travel to Delaware for the staged propaganda event.

7. Biden was forced to travel to the White House just to look like he’s actually in charge.
