Mike Pence didn’t have the power to delay certification. He’s not the one who certifies the votes. I just don’t get this obsession that seemingly smart people have with expecting Pence to do something he had no Constitutional power to do.
He betrayed President Trump. That’s a major character flaw. he’s done.
Our constitution requires Pence to obey the law making it unconstitutional to certify a fraudulent election.
Others disagree.
He had letters from the SOS and congress of several states that there was suspicion of fraud in those states.
Whether or not the election would have been corrected in the end, or not, is beside the point. He didn’t even try and he didn’t independently initiate the decision to return to the states. They requested it.
It’s ridiculous.
It’s an interesting opinion. I’ll go with people like John Eastman, et al., who know that Judas DID have the Constitutional authority. Instead, Judas chose to sell out.
They’re called extremely extreme reactionary extremists with little self control.
