I’m now hearing that the afghans were fighting but couldn’;t get supplies. My gut says they sold the supplies to the Taliban and then joined the Taliban. Muslims are muslims.
When the US army left they refused to allow the foreign third party aircraft maintenance contractor to continue to maintain the aircraft so the Afghan air force could not conduct sorties. They also withdrew intelligence capabilities so the Afghan army was flying blind so to speak. We can rightly blame the Afghan will to fight but its partly on us. And by us I mean Joey.
