If we have a repository of samples this lends credence to the fact that Covid is way up in Florida which it happenes to be. There is no question we are at the top or just across the peak of the wave in southeast Florida.

This is a very good look at where on the curve we are as well as epidemiological survey.
But I suppose this kind of analysis is harder and requires more thinking than a quick cheap joke and conspiracy.
My perspective is, “so”. This kind of “facts” is used to convince people that AGW is a real thing and going to have massive impacts if we don’t “DO SOMETHING”.

My industry (real estate development, design, construction) has been brainstorming for over a year on what the post-covid built environment should look like.
Wastewater surveillance is probably one of the more high-impact things we can accommodate going forward in terms of pubic health. It’s cheap, easy to implement, and with the spread of individual blackwater systems for larger urban developments, could be highly localized. A very big ROI, as we like to say.
Why people think that these surveillance efforts are somehow attempts to show that the wastewater spreads the ‘rona is beyond me.
