Leah covered this development this morning. The Biden White House isn’t looking to enact a nationwide COVID vaccine mandate but will probably implement measures that pretty much make it impossible for anyone to do…anything without getting the shot. There is no mandate, but there is one seems to be the playbook here. The new action item is to mandate vaccination for interstate travel—all of this while COVID-infected illegals are shipped all over the country, but whatever, right? The Associated Press said that they’re not going to push it since it “would be too polarizing for the moment.” So, is this an emergency or not? A Biden White House official said that this is not being discussed at this time. That’s not a denial. They want to do this but can’t move on it due to the midterm elections.
And it’s not just vaccine mandates for interstate travel, Biden is reportedly looking into whether he can overrule Republican governors on their COVID policy (via Daily Caller):
President Joe Biden doesn’t “believe” he has the power to override Republican governors on COVID-19 policy in states like Florida and Texas, the president told reporters Tuesday.
Biden made the comment in response to shouted questions from reporters following a Tuesday speech at the White House. Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott have both instituted a ban on mask mandates in their states.
“Do you have presidential powers to intervene in states like Texas and Florida where they are banning mask mandates?” a reporter asked.
“I don’t believe that I do thus far. We’re checking that,” Biden responded. “But federal workforce I can.”
King Joe is looking to issue his edicts. Only an impending election season is stopping him. Again, undercutting this whole ‘emergency situation’ mindset. If stuff can wait due to political concerns, then you must wonder if the panic is being overblown. Who am I kidding? You've all known it's been that way for months now.

Once he got a long, hard look at the nearly unlimited scope of the governor’s police power in and among the several states, he changed his stance from one of great initiative to one of support for the COVID-control efforts underway at the state level.

From there, leftist politicians turned all the crazy, Marxist theorizing coming from academia into policy. In the meantime, due to incrementalism, a huge swath of the public became comfortable with crazy leftist ideas and policies, or at least not pissed off enough to shut them down. And of course the schools brainwashed the young into believing in them. Million of those children are now adults and entering positions of authority.
The Left captured academia and the media a long, long time ago. Its ownership of both is complete.
The election of Obola would have been impossible without the Marxist Left's capture of the "education" system. With or without him, we'd still be where we are today.
Completely impossible to stop interstate travel. Every road between states would have to be manned. Supplies would ground to a halt etc not to mention walking across anywhere.

AGREE. I’m in the group who CAN’T take the vaccine. I do the groceries, I have Specialist doctors (4) every 6 months. Disabled, the 2nd Meniere’s attack nearly left me Deaf, can’t get hearing aids right. And never will, until the Audiologist learns to set them for the real Noisy world, not a quite, direct to the ear room. Adults who lose hearing struggle, as we speak, kinda lip read, but have no resources to increase hearing but crappy Hearing Aids. I’ve tried bone conductors, speakers, use the cellphone speaker which is to weak, none of it works. Trying o watch TV is torture, over head music is like being in a loud factory. Same goes for eating out. Next attack will leaf me deaf, and all the programs are for KIDS. Can’t hear alarms, ER Vehicles, had to have Hard of hearing added to my DL info. Have a Idiot husband who has FLIGHT DECK hearing loss that only puts them on to watch TV at night, that won’t turn the over loud TV down and wonders why a foot away I can’t hear him. Same goes for doctors who don’t look at you when they speak.

States are sovereign. Fascist DC has no legal leg to stand on in trying to shut down interstate commerce. States could also declare any action like this as a terrorist act and prosecute gestapo flunkies under their anti-klan laws.
The outrages of today’s rats are built upon generations of outrages going back to FDR.
They never give up in the face of setbacks, but always come back again and again. The Left owns every major American institution and will eventually get what they want . . . unless We the People do an end run around them.
