NYC should not be bragging about how much money it makes because most of it is unearned.
Most of it is probably investment income, but there are a lot of very high-paying jobs too.
It’s the richest city in the country. Could be why so many hate it.
Funny, traveling across the U.S. by car two and a half years ago, I didn’t meet many people who hated New York. Regular people are just regular people. They weren’t impressed, but they didn’t hate it either.
