Because, to borrow Olympic parlance as the Tokyo Games end, the fork-tongued, disingenuous, duplicitous, charlatan sleazeball has soared to Gold-medal levels of lying and hypocrisy.

I think we all know what would have happened, if a report such as this Cuomo report was detailing transgressions committed by a prominent Republican.
But there are still actions to be taken. He’s facing at least one lawsuit in court over his harrassment. And impeachment by the New York legislature may well happen.

I hope that doesn’t happen, I want to see Cuomo hang on until he’s impeached, forcing the Democrats to go thru the entire ugly process of getting rid of him...
If Cuomo quits that avoids all embarrassing news it would create for the Democrats....Once Cuomo leaves, the story will be over quickly the MSM won’t report on it once he’s gone.

I just heard that he is resigning.If he doesn't resign he will be impeached, which is not good on a resume and once impeached you can't run again. He's got to understand that his own party wants him OUT because he will be toxic in 2022 elections if he's still on the front pages.

That’s what I thought can happen with Cuomo. The calls for his resignation are out there, but if he resists, he would still stay in office. Just like the Virginia guy did.

In the corporate world, any executive would have been hustled out the back door in shame and embarrassment long ago. Shareholders would not tolerate this kind of behavior.
The fact that these office holders are willing to undergo any humiliation to cling on to their power should be a warning signal to all citizens (who are technically the shareholders of our government).
