“Many foreigners who move to the US have no clue just how awful US big cities are—and who roams the streets there.

They just have to learn the lesson the hard way—and then they are equally stunned to find out how amazing the rural countryside is..”

Not just foreigners, but many Americans are just as clueless, as the media simply WILL NOT report the massive hatred and violence now permitted in our cities, since that might be interpreted as anti-black.

So people, uninformed people, go into those traps, many more dangerous than Third World countries and learn the hard way that our cities are not what is being portrayed.

I doubt that I live long enough to see our cities relatively safe again...and I was shocked that NYC actually became safe under Rudy and then Bloomberg...but they’ve since given that up. Guilt, I guess, simply not enough violence for the Left.

I visited NYC during the “good years”—and felt quite safe—but there were cops everywhere on the street as far as the eye could see in all tourist areas.

Keeping cities civilized is very hard work—requires total vigilance and determination on the part of political leadership.
