Man Suffers Suspected Heart Attack While Under Arrest For No Mask

A video emerged on Instagram showing an elderly man exercising in the Brisbane Botanical Gardens without a mask on Monday. The man was stopped by four police and handcuffed at the scene.

Brisbane is currently in a snap lockdown with harsh Covid restrictions that include wearing a face mask at all times when outside the home. Despite having a medical exemption that allows him to exercise without a mask, police persisted.

The man peacefully complied with directions. His partner answered police questions in an attempt to stop them from taking the distressed man away.

He then suffered a seizure at the scene, at which point his partner tried to render assistance while the police removed his handcuffs.

Police allegedly joked when he had a seizure that they did not believe he had heart problems that warranted the mask exemption. The man’s heart medication was revealed to be in a plastic bag in his backpack.

See? Do you believe me now, you pricks?” said the man’s partner, as the medication was taken out.

The woman took over treatment after police put the medication down in front of the man, who was by this stage unable to help himself.

He can be seen falling to the ground and then violently thrashing around on the pavement, gasping for air while handcuffed.

Instagram user _josephmerlino, who claims to be the man’s son, took to social media to voice his distress at the way his father was treated by police enforcing Queensland’s health orders.

All this for 9 Covid deaths in Australia since last January.

Still think this is about virus?

Sounds like the elderly man has an excellent civil case aganbst the police personally as well as against thepolice department, for false arrest and false imprisonment.

Sydney has a population size and density on par with Dallas Fort Worth

They have had 9500 cases and 69 deaths total since January of 2020. That’s for all of NSW not just Sydney proper again an area and population on par with DFWs 6.5 million

Dallas County alone has had 317,000 cases and 4100 deaths, Tarrant County has 275K and 3600 deaths,Collin County 97K and 864 deaths and Denton County a 79K and 790 deaths for the 4 main dfw counties alone.

What’s the difference? The Aussie did no joke real deal lockdowns the effects are self explanatory they had in similar population numbers and density a tiny fraction of the total cases and deaths. It’s absolute proof lockdown work like it or not the Aussie prove that truly draconian lockdown do stop an airborne virus which is entirely reasonable without person to person contacts there is no way for a virus to jump from host to host that much is simple science.

The numbers are clear look at Johns Hopkins University school of medicine they have the best data in the world and are the authority for epidemiological studies.

I wish they’d remember that “the law is the law” when radicals are “mostly peacefully protesting.”

Sorry Australia, but you’re lost.

So should we have had brutal lock downs over here, where people are forced to use a face diaper to take out the garbage, or mow/water the lawn, or throw out bulk trash, or do literally anything outside the home, even in a closed-off yard, including toddlers using face diapers?

Every time I see a kid with a face diaper, it’s child abuse.

You want to shut down North Texas...again? Be my guest.

You state that there have been roughly 10K deaths due to Covid since 2020, or 0.15% of the population. You mention nothing regarding the comorbidities of those who died.

Go live in Sydney, let us Texans live our lives, instead of wringing our hands. I take my guidance from a nationally respected physician...when he gets jabbed, I'll think about it.

Direct evidence that Covid is not the crisis we should palpitate over comes from the White House: if it were so, tens of thousands of illegal aliens with Covid would NOT be bused to dozens of cities throughout the US.

Your handle indicates you're a lawyer who went to UT Dallas, which means you're fairly intelligent. Next time, try a dollop of common sense along with your posts.

Facts are facts that’s how science works. Do I want loxkdowns no, but they do work if you do them right. That’s just a fact. Texas also shows what happens when you vaccinate a significant portion of your population.

https://www.texastribune.org/2021/07/21/coronavirus-texas-vaccinated-deaths/

43 fully vaxed vs 8000+ unvaxed since February. Of those 75% were comorbidity risk group and 95% of them were over 60. So if you are under 60 and not a diabetic and vaccinated you have an effectively zero risk of death compared to a not zero risk for all ages in the unvaxed group.

Here is Texas vax penetration rate.

The 65 plus age cohort is above 70% vaccinated in Texas

https://usafacts.org/visualizations/covid-vaccine-tracker-states/state/texas

Texas has vaxed 578K 80 year old plus
2.2 million 65 to 79 and 3.2 million 50 to 64 year olds.

Out of that group of over 5.5 million people only 40 died since they were vaccinated from February onwards.

40 out of 5.5 million that’s 0.00065898%

A clearer picture of vaccine effectiveness could not be asked for. Compare that to the 8000+ unvaccinated deaths over the same timeframe Texas as a whole is 44% vaccinated for a 60/40 split if the vaccines didn’t work the deaths would also be a 60/40 split they are not even close and to say otherwise is an outright lie. The way out of this mess of a chicom bioweapon is the vaccines they work the numbers don’t lie internet blowhards do.

That’s a childish comparison. The population of DFW is wildly different from Sydney. Half the population of DFW is Hispanic and black. Also the obesity rates are not even close. The population of DFW probably doubles the weight of Sydney because of all the fatties. Also the crazed obsession with testing in DFW unlike other places means that the number of “cases” is naturally higher. There is no way Sydney conducted the sheer number of tests DFW did, not even close. Also Sydney did not jam ventilators down every obese throat with a flu or cold because of their style of healthcare. You also forgot to factor in the fraudulent death reporting standards that were widespread in America.

Lockdowns do not work you bootlick, unless the goal is establishing tyranny and removing Trump,.. then they work great.

I’m not a lawyer I’m a triple master’s, PhD and multiple post doc level researcher and scientist. In 3 disciplines I do science professionally every day for a living politics has zero place in science. Lockdowns work that’s not debatable remove human to human contact an airborne virus dies out it’s that simple. Wreaking the world economy for that is foolish when effective vaccines are now widely available that cut the death rate and the total deaths to miniscule numbers for those vaccinated.

If the vaccines are so great, why hasn't the FDA approved them?

Apologies for assuming you were a lawyer, was going off the JD for juris doctor.

You haven’t been to Sydney recently it’s full of fatties and the aboriginals are black. Tokyo has a higher density than NYC and they had a fraction of the deaths of NYC with twice the population and nearly twice the density. Isolating people works that’s not up for debate no matter what blowhards say an airborne virus cannot spread of starved of its hosts period end of discussion. Any competent scientist will come to exactly the same conclusion every time it is done. The word quarantine is Latin for 40 days why decade isolation for 40 days for.thousands of years was enough to squash even the nastiest bug black death for example , small pox as well. The debate is should draconian lockdown or quarantine be done for a hand full of cases given that effective vaccines exist it makes little sense to lockdown the public and wreak the supply chains.

The FDA will have approvals for at least two of them in September bank on it. Trump pushed to have them get EUAs to save American lives and bless him for it. That one man has saved hundreds of thousands by this point. Just in Texas from Feb to now the numbers couldn’t be more stark. 43 in the vax group 8000+ in the unvaxed that’s Trump’s doing and bless him for it.

Why September you ask because that’s when the US military is requiring every person to have been vaxed and they won’t until it’s FDA approved so the writing on the wall is approval happens in September or late August. The Fed gov has already mandated the tax if you don’t want to mask up and get PCR tested twice a week. They too are waiting for full FDA approval which they also set a September deadline both things point to a September approval timeline.

I paid off my student loans in 3 years all 120k of them my second , third and PhD were earned while working full time as a researcher, lecturer, and industry professional / consultant. I own three LLC and do work in three disciplines I hate being bored and well love money it pays extremely well to do oil and gas ops and Petri engineering but hydrology is my passion water is blue gold of the 21st century. I could retire in my early 50 but I’d just get bored I like the challenge of pure research even if grants are not as lucrative as big oil.

“Dallas County alone has had 317,000 cases and 4100 deaths”

“It’s absolute proof lockdown work like it or not the Aussie prove that truly draconian lockdown do stop an airborne virus”

After WW2, the death rate of Jews in Eastern Europe was near zero, whereas before WW2 nearly 200 Jews a day were dying. It’s absolute PROOF that genocides work.

So where does it end? How many of those 4100 deaths were Delta? How many Antarcticans are streaming into Australia through their southern border every day? Is this the future you guys REALLY want now...where lockdowns are called with literally NO JUSTIFICATION...which is the case now.
