Probably the most important characteristic for athletes of Biles’ level is temperament. I mean at the Olympic level what is the talent difference among competitors? It’s above the shoulders that separates the winners from the also-fans.

Biles does not fit the McNabb mood: she already has multiple gold medals and world championships whereas Donovan never reached the pinnacle in his sport. IOW, she earned her hype.
