The next thing on the horizon is the introduction of Sharia courts. I’m not joking this is actively being discussed in some places

I think there is already an understanding that in certain cases “local justice” is determined by the community. I also understand that this was predated by similar rules in the Jewish communities in the UK, particularly with civil rather than criminal laws.
I’m in no way a supporter of the above and I am not surprised we still haven’t faced up to dealing with these cultural issues.
