We are ALL going to pay for Democrat stupidity.
That’s their plan. Get the nation’s taxpayers to foot the bill for Baltimore’s corruption and ineptitude.
Baltimore has been “paying” for Democratic stupidity and cowardice since April 1968 when Mayor D’Alessandro (Nancy’s incompetent then mayor brother), let black rioters and professional thugs destroy certain parts of the city without any major police interference.
The main target was small Jewish businesses in East Baltimore (my old area and where we had a family business), as well as other small businesses owned by whites.
What it did was to not only put these businesses out of existence, it created significant unemployment among their many decent, hardworking black employees, some of who I worked with on a regular basis.
Democrat corruption and neo-Marxist tax policies also contributed to this economic disaster.
Honest blacks very often cooperated with the police (largely white back then and into the 80’s) because they were tired of being the victims of black criminals.
However, they kept electing Democrat incompetent/corrupt officials with the exception of the Mayor Schaefer terms.
If it weren’t for the implied threat of Mafia retaliation, Little Italy (where the D’Alessandros lived behind nice walls and I suspect “gumba bodyguards”), would have been burned to the ground. The Greeks were armed as were many Italians, Ukrainians, Poles, etc. Very little problem in their neighborhoods including the Patterson Park area.
What you have now is an incompetent corrupted black female mayor (her predecessors were either jailed or kicked out of office for corruption) and a black racist City’s DA in Mosby.
If the police chief Harrison, who I think is black, wants to stop a lot of crime he needs to investigate and jail the mayor/staff and much of the City Council as well as Mosby.
* Give orders to shoot to kill rioters/arsonists, killers, rapists, etc.
* Enforce a limited curfew to keep young punks off the streets
* Bring back “stop and frisk” when there is a reasonable cause/need to search someone suspected or known to be involved in criminal activities.
* Longer jail sentences for all serious felonies.
* Higher bail for dangerous criminals.
* Better surveillance systems.
* Use the Guiliani “minor crimes” arrest tactics to prevent more problems if the criminals know that they can get away with the little stuff.
* Fill the morgues with armed criminals till they run out of coffins. Then start using black garbage bags in a policy known as “taking out the trash, permanently”.
I lived in Baltimore for over 21 years, since birth, and watched it go down the shitter, day after day, week after week and year after year. Now they are paying the price and the Dems don’t give a good crap.
