The Biden administration is reportedly considering whether to urge vaccinated Americans to once again wear masks in more settings, amid a nationwide spike in COVID-19 cases from the Delta variant.
Top White House aides are in talks with officials at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which has dropped its mask mandate for vaccinated people but is now examining whether to update its guidance, the Washington Post reported, citing a Biden aide and a federal health official.
One idea being mulled would be to ask everyone to mask up when vaccinated and unvaccinated people mix at public venues or indoors, such as at malls or movie theaters, two people familiar with the conversations told the paper.

Is there any evidence at all that mask work to prevent transmission of covid? I have yet to see anything saying so.

How do you know if you are in a public venue who is vaccinated and who isn’t ?
Obviously you don’t , so the Biden solution is make everyone wear masks regardless.

Of course they will.
The whole reasons for removing the mask mandate (aside from the fact that it’s common sense) for vaccinated people was to try to encourage people to get the vaccine. The message was “see, get vaccinated and you can ditch the mask”.
But now they believe they have reached a hard to overcome plateau and they no longer care about rewarding or encouraging those who’ve been vaccinated. You are now useless fodder.
This is what they are REALLY getting at, don't be fooled.

Of course they will push masks again, because of a variant. Even if you have had covid or been vaccinated. When will EVERYONE figure out this is about power.

I actually do this (or exhale) if I’m going to pass close to somebody. But I’ve always been a bit of a germaphobe.
I guess mask requirements exist because they don’t trust you to hold your breath. ;)
Yes, of course there is. In the hospital setting, with close exposure to seriously ill COVID patients? You bet they do.
The extension of this well-understood model to visitors to the Grand Canyon, however, is another matter entirely.
