Unless you really believe in evil, someone can be born evil; of course it is possible to say that someone is at their core good. It is also possible that you have accepted the CCP payment and said what it says on the script. Since I do believe in evil, I think the latter is at play here.

But for really awful pieces of work, they don't even get the "good guy" moniker. People who DO give those POW the "good guy" moniker are often told in private "actually, I wouldn't let him clean my toilet" and are forever considered poor judges of character/have a blind spot.
