North Carolina Representative Ted Budd’s fundraising numbers for his Senate campaign gave him a last-minute cash boost in the Republican primary, after former President Donald Trump endorsed him last month.

EQV Analytics, a Democratic research firm, found that Mr Budd began [outraising] his opponents after Trump endorsed him at a state party convention in June, praising him as someone who would “fight like hell."

According to his most recent Federal Election Commission filing, nearly 70 percent of the $950,000 raised by Mr. [Budd] came [after] the former president endorsed [Budd], who was first elected to Congress in 2016. ***

Bill Busa, president of EQV Analytics, said in an email that it filtered contributors to only those with first names, but excluding individuals. It found that Bud received $33,146 in April, $91,786 in May, and $677,642 in June.

Mr Trump backs him against former governor Pat [McCrory].

Exploding Dem totalitarian heads will plan Arkanicide.

Mr. Budd had better spend some of that money on top notch security for himself and his family.

They’ve run radio ads on the Raleigh/Greensboro local talk station multiple times a day for the last several days/weeks.

The ads incorporate Trump’s vocal endorsement, repetitively.

McCrory is largely damaged goods over HB-2, which was probably the reason he was defeated as governor.

I don’t know the Congressman, but I’d rather not have the airwaves filled with “HB-2” all over again, since it’s no longer a thing.

McCrory lost due to a toll road north of Charlotte (he had nothing to do with it but Cooper signed the contracts) McCrory never went after Cooper for that and lost Republican voters in Iredell County which is RED (Trump 66%)

That endorsement was out of the blue. He’s taking a stand early on an early state we have to defend.

Then there’s the ones we have to take back. No one in Az. or Georgia one can get solidly behind. Nevada doesn’t even have anyone who can(or will bother) to put up a fight. Same with NH.

Has President Trump learned to tell friend from foe? If his post administration endorsements work out the same way his nominations did when he was active, I don’t know...
