BLM activist accused of molesting 62 kids returns to school board despite ongoing investigation

As of today the investigation into Anderson is still ongoing.

Black Lives Matter activist Tay Anderson is returning to work at the Denver School Board after stepping down a few months ago amid accusations he molested over 60 undocumented students. As of today the investigation into Anderson is still ongoing. But that’s what compels Anderson to come back, as he believes the evaluation into his conduct has over-expanded in scope. According to ABC7 in Denver, the investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against him have cost the Denver Public Schools Board of Education more than $50,000 so far. Tay Anderson thought they'd find "credible evidence" by now. It’s also through the local ABC7 outlet that his announcement of returning to work was reported. In a email letter to the other school board members: "Despite promises that this investigation would be completed within thirty days, then later prior to the start of the 21-22 school year, I have fully cooperated and participated in the independent investigation being conducted by ILG. I am now told that the investigation will not be completed for at least another four or five weeks, leading us to mid-August. "The timeline of this external private investigation has changed multiple times and the scope of its inquiry continues to change. Although I remain committed to engaging in a transparent and fair process, I can no longer wait for this process to conclude to initiate my return to serving the families of the Denver Public Schools." Back in March, Black Lives Matter group BLM5280 alongside Never Again Colorado had first reported the allegations. Then on May 25th, the claim that Tay Anderson molested over 60 undocumented students was made in a public testimony to Colorado’s State Legislature. He labeled it as "unsubstantiated false allegations" but agreed to step down out of respect to students until the completion of the investigation. In response to today’s announcement from Anderson, the school board responded by saying it’s not their place to shut down the investigation early before all evidence is examined. "One of the reasons that the Board launched this investigation was because, consistent with our values, we believed a young Black man deserved due process and a fair evaluation of anonymous allegations that were made on social media. We hired independent, neutral, and trained investigators to review these claims."

Remember kids - it’s OK when a Democrat does it. It’s not like he’s Larry Nassar or Bill Cosby or anything...

Sexual abuse laws are for thee not for communists.

Denver is a totally corrupt (e.g., Demcrat run) city that envies San Pelosi Shitsco and wants to emulate it.

They’ve got a good start with downtown Denver (formerly a beautiful city) looking like Portland.

Tay Anderson is a black activist thug and therefore gets a pass.

I can no longer wait for this process to conclude to initiate my return to serving the families of the Denver Public Schools.

He wants to get back to his job of molesting students - he's already learned that no one is going to do a damn thing about it.

Wonder what the parents of the molested children have to say about this?

We hired independent, neutral, and trained investigators to review these claims.

Huh? Why are these accusations not referred to a Denver county police or sheriffs department for an investigation and referral to a prosecutor? Isnt molesting children a crime and police matter?

Not trying to defend this guy but there is something a little weird about the story. First the guy was accused (I think by an ex-girlfriend) of assault, which he denies.

Then a local activist who is promoting a bill about mandatory reporting said in her testimony at the State House that 62 different people had come to her home to report allegations against one person whose name she won’t reveal and that 61 of them are undocumented so they won’t go to the police.

None of the articles ask some pretty obvious questions:

- why did they all go to your home? Did you know them all before that?
- OK they won’t go to the police but did any of the 62 people say they told anyone else? A teacher? The principal? Did you ask?
- other than waiting for the 62nd person to arrive at your home and then coming to this hearing today, did you take any action at all to alert authorities? After the third victim came to you? After the 30th victim came to you? After the 50th victim came to you?
- Other than protecting a serial rapist, what reason do you have for not identifying the person? If you have been told by 62 people that he’s a rapist, you have no legal risk at all merely saying “62 people told me that X is a rapist.”

Parents don’t care. If they did, they’d make sure their little thugs get to class every day, make sure their homework is done and turned in, demand excellence from teachers and run for school board.

I see your point. I am not defending this person, but there are cases where allegations of child molestations are made out of spite, revenge, what have you.

Why aren’t these allegations being investigated by the appropriate law enforcement agency? Investigation by the schoolboard smells of cover up.
This guy has a lot of chutzpah to announce, unilaterally, that he’s returning to work. It reeks.

Agree. I mean, if you read the headline you think 62 different people have accused this guy. So he must be as guilty as Weinstein, right?

Then you read the articles and you find out that there are only two people involved: an ex-girlfriend and a self-described community activist who won’t even say that he’s the guy she’s talking about. Could both of them be lying? Certainly they could. Are they? Maybe, maybe not, but he claims that he is cooperating with the investigation and his complaint is that it’s taking too long. That’s not inconsistent with guilt or innocence.
