I am driving cross country next week. I’ve done this before. When you drive across America, through the small towns, across the fruited plain, the amber waves of grain and purple mountain majesties, it is truly invigorating. Our America is still there, waiting to be mobilized to stop the DC fascists,

Amen

The great river road extends from Lake Itaska Minnesota to Venice Louisiana following the Mississippi river. It passes through Minneapolis and Sy louis but mostly takes you through small towns and few interstate miles

The Butterfield Trail is the route of the first transcontinental mail contract route. The mail stages took 21 days. It goes through Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and then California to The Wells Fargo HQ in San Francisco. This route is also through a lot of small cities and towns. It is a fantastic route to follow.

There are other marked National Trail but these are two of the best
