Country rock star Aaron Lewis’s patriotic anthem “Am I the Only One” soared up the iTunes charts, passing Big Red Machine’s “Renegade” featuring Taylor Swift, over the July 4th weekend.The patriotic anthem, dedicated to “all the patriots,” calls out left-wing activists and slams those who tore statutes down during the Black Lives Matter riots last year.

Not a fan of ‘modern’ country music.
There's tons of good modern country music, you just have to look outside of Nashville and the bro-country. Just a few examples:
- Zane Williams
- Buddy Brown
- Trace Adkins (older, but still putting out new stuff)
- Corb Lund
- Granger Smith
- Jamey Johnson

I mostly listen to classic rock. I do have a collection, though, of Hank senior, Johnny Cash, Bob Wills. Patsy Cline, Wiily, Waylon and Bluegrass songs by Flatt and Scruggs, Doc Watson, Earl Monroe Etc, etc.
I also have a seizable collection of Swing music, Blues, R& B.
I’m pretty much not interested in NEW, anything. But I take them as they come.
