Most serial killers started by tormenting animals

In our little home town, a young man, who regularly tortured cats and other small animals, eventually was convicted of murdering a young woman and sentenced to prison. Shortly upon release from prison, he killed another young woman, but this time had the good sense to off himself as well. And yes, he started out by killing animals.

I've hear that child-abusing convicts are beaten by their "peers". I wonder if similar "justice" is delivered to incarcerated cat or dog/pet abusers....

I have no way of knowing but have read that the old cliche that convicts beat the child abusers in prison is outdated. They now tolerate them!

As I say, I am not a Dem, so I do not know if this is accurate.
