Actually the attendee numbers were in fact higher then reported, because the Media wanted make Trumpie look bad. Thousands were held at the in gates because so many folks showed and they could not be pushed into the fairground areas for safety reasons. Also, I have a media friend that attends all the Trump Rallies and he informed me his estimate was between 50,000 & 75,000 attendees!!! I suspect the Sarasota, Florida, July 3rd, 2021 Trump Rally will be a massive blockbuster...to say the least!!! Tune in...or better yet be there!!! Just remember...the Media loves to lie, just like Democrat, Joe Biden does!!!

"I have not watched or tuned in to FNC in a long time..."

I originally stopped watching them in 2000, after they called Florida for Gore, but went back on 9/11, and then periodically tuned in for certain things like the Presidential debates. But I haven't watched Fox News at all since Obama was elected in 2008. I don't watch any news programs, not NewsMax, OAN, none of them. I can read, and comprehend, and make my own mind up on issues. At almost 74, time is precious, so why waste it on listening to someone else spout the news, when all I have to do is read it myself. Besides, all they do is repeat what I've already said on a given issue, so why listen to them spew my own words and thoughts back at me?

...but are they READING everything? I do not think so.

They've got smart machines to do that. You never saw "Person of Interest"?

Will the NSA try to force Tucker to reveal his sources?

This could get real ugly, real fast.

Snowden is living in relative freedom in Moscow.

Assange is in a British torture prison.

GOP & Democrat war criminals are totally without any legal impingement.

The issue isn't whether the NSA collected your data - it did.

The real issue is who ordered your data unmasked and distributed, and for what purpose.

I read it a decade or so ago and don’t remember it being particularly lefty. I actually thought it was a bit of a confused mess and mediocre.

Upton Sinclair Jr. (1878 – 1968) was an outspoken socialist and muckraker, no doubt about that. But he certainly did some good when there were some really bad things going on in the food industry and journalism.

We read “The Jungle” around 1967 in high school and it was an eye-opener. It was his first book that brought him fame and contributed in part to the passage of the 1906 Pure Food and Drug Act and the Meat Inspection Act.

In 1919, he published The Brass Check, a muck-raking exposé of American journalism that publicized the issue of yellow journalism and the limitations of the “free press” in the United States. Four years after publication of The Brass Check, the first code of ethics for journalists was created.

He is also well remembered for the line: “It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it.” (so true in 2021)

Of his California gubernatorial bid, Sinclair remarked in 1951: “The American People will take Socialism, but they won’t take the label. I certainly proved it in the case of EPIC. Running on the Socialist ticket I got 60,000 votes, and running on the slogan to ‘End Poverty in California’ I got 879,000. I think we simply have to recognize the fact that our enemies have succeeded in spreading the Big Lie. There is no use attacking it by a front attack, it is much better to out-flank them.”

I think he was rather prescient with that remark.

Sorry, I don’t recall offhand. But the article indicated that 5000 were on the floor with the overflow areas packed and that was the estimate.

Tucker needs to start using Trak Phones - and swap out every 5 days. It takes that long to get a Title 3 wire tap; but this is probably some ‘ rouge group’ at NSA doing this, … still use Trak Phones and swap out

Or all the talk of remote activation of “turned off” smartphones and their mics and cameras, so maybe they can remotely enter the computer and do sabotage.

Heard a couple discussing how they kept having PC go black. Then called place that did scan and repair of problem drivers and so on-—all remotely. they were amazed as he moved screen to screen, moved lines of lists up and down quickly, changed things, went to other stored data all remotely. They said “Makes you wonder how insecure all the data is.” The guy fixed it but now they’re worried.

I think they read everything... just like FB/twatter/inst and the like do. Using AI, bots, spiders, whatever... for key words, just like they do for conversations. The line between audio and textual is now blurred. Does you phone take your voice messages and display them as text?
