Following his resignation announcement, Warren fired Singletary...
The former Rochester police chief soon after filed a notice of claim of wrongful and retaliatory termination.

If I resign from a job, it’s pretty difficult to then fire me...and I’m not sure I can file a claim for wrongful termination, given that I resigned.

But then this is a Third World city, so I guess they operate in different ways, using the language differently too...

If they fire you after you resign, that is wrongful termination
