Stupid asinine article is stupid.
If you refilter the study for city dwellers vs rural -you’ll find that black people don’t have as many cars because they live in the city where they don’t NEED cars.
This also leads to much more traffic congestion and crosswalk traffic then you’d get in rural and suburb areas.
I’m sure if you go back and look at pedestrian deaths in suburbs that’s you’ll find white people die at 90% the rate of black people.
Don’t buy into the propaganda folks.
At the risk of sound, well . . . you know . . . When approaching a crosswalk while driving, I find it almost universal that pedestrians of a certain culture slow down to half or quarter shuffle and glare at the driver. I suggest that could be dangerous, even suicidal if the driver happens to be of the same culture.

More black pedestrians get killed on the roads because they walk in the middle of the road at night, when you can’t see them.
They should wear either little lights or reflector tape.
