He had no evidence that a career criminal stealing from a half dozen places with $900 to $1,000 each time was not getting rich off Walgreen’s. Now he looks like even more of a moron.
If you have stolen something worth $1000 at retail, you will be very lucky to fence it for $100. $50 to $75 is a lot more likely.
