These writers live in big cities—where it may not make sense to own a car. One of the biggest reasons that EV cars are selling in China is because ICE (gasoline) cars are not allowed into parts of major cities, but EV's are. There are laws and rules that punish people for buying ICE cars. Liberals want to duplicate that here.
