No, I haven’t seen anything. But there’s a 99.99999999% chance neither had anything to do with the vaccine.
I had received all but the last shot in the Anthrax regimen. Showed up after what seemed like a dozen injections to get my last shot, and our Doc said, “yeah, nevermind. We ain’t doing this anymore.” COC said it was absolutely MANDATORY to get the injections. Don’t want them? You’ll be on your way out of the service AFTER going through NJP. WTF?
Would you quit reminding me of those anthrax shots! LOL! I got the first 3, but know a few people that got 4.
Before my first tour, my unit had some mandatory shot come up. I refused, and caused a big stink. They weren’t going to dag me green, the base surgeon was going to hold me back, but the CO overrode him saying we were already way under strength and needed everyone. As it was we had to take some pathetic reserves with us (weekend warrior types..spit), and that was highly problematic at that time. We were doing complex ops and we were the best of the best and they were sending these wogs out with us. It turned into severe babysitting.
In my section, I was the only one of 8 not to take the shot, and when we got there, I was the only one not bed ridden for days.
