Well, he did star in “Philadelphia”, so I guess this gives him a pass with the LGBTXYZ crowd. But maybe not, since they probably view it as though he took the role away from an actual gay man.
That movie was vile, virtue-signaling propaganda and contained ridiculously unrealistic scenes, like the gay guy's delighted extended family sitting in a circle and welcoming him—in his advanced stage of AIDS—to hold the new baby. When I went to visit an employee with AIDS in the hospital during that same period of time, even in a big city in a blue state, the doctors and nurses were obviously nervous and keeping their distance from him.
