A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for the North-Central Gulf of Mexico. TD 3 has formed in the Bay of Campeche. Current guidance indicates a generally northward track.

Looks like Claudette is going to persist, dumping rain onto much of the Southeast, then re-emerging off the NC Outer Banks, strengthening back into a TS. The gift that keeps on giving.

Wisconsin is in a drought right now, though we DID get a blessed inch of rain Thursday night. We are being hit hard with humidity, which doesn’t jibe with the drought but, whatever!

At 6:00am this morning there was so much thundering, lightening and rain that I thought the pictures were going fall off the walls. Water is standing everywhere now...but all is quiet. I think it's done with my area.
