People Fleeing Collapsing Economies of Blue States Advise Those Who Remain: ‘Start Making Better Decisions on Who You Vote For’

Florida was the No. 1 relocation destination for Americans in 2020, according to Move.org. New York and California took first and second place in the contest for which states had the most people choosing to leave.
Justin Pearson is a 27-year-old truck loader for a Target distribution center. A resident of Hemet, California, for 22 years, Pearson moved to the town of Riverside for another three years until the dramatic change in policies and rising cost of living made it impossible for him to live on his own. There also was no way he could afford to buy his own home, he said. In order to survive at all, he fled to Lake City, Florida.
While the national average in property taxes is 1.07 percent, Floridians pay only 0.83 percent, and Californians pay even less—0.73 percent. But Pearson said the cost of everything else in California erased the benefit of lower property taxes. Additionally, Florida is one of only nine states in the country that has no state income or wage taxes.
“With the COVID restrictions, a lot of businesses closed,” Pearson told The Epoch Times. “In turn, that caused an increase in homelessness. Then the governor enacted the zero-dollar bail policy and an early prison-release program, which caused the crime rate to skyrocket. Gas taxes were added. The cost of living was so high you could not get by if you were single. You literally had to have two or three incomes in order to make it.”
A specific motivator in Pearson’s decision to choose Florida was his “deep respect” for Gov. Ron DeSantis because of his moves to ban Critical Race Theory, to enact an anti-riot bill,

“In turn, that caused an increase in homelessness."First off, its not, "homelessness," it's vagrancy. And second, it didn't increase because of the covid hoax, it increased because they emptied the prisons.

How do we know Dominion or one of their cousins hasn’t been voting for them, and voting for them going back decades?

If the places they are leaving don’t then become more conservative . . . then we have too many leftists in this country. Usually that type of imbalance only gets corrected one way and it’s called war.

My daughter lives near Riverside and she really want to move out of Cali. But her husband has family there and doesn’t want to leave. They make about $80k a year and are renters with no savings and no retirement accounts. $80k is surviving and barely making it from payday to payday income in Cali. We could live quite nicely in Alaska on that income, while owning a house. And many people do it on less. Her husband is morbidly obese and she’s said she out of there should he die young.

You think that the government paralyzing the economy by shutting down the private sector did not increase homelessness and vagrancy?i
I don't want to call you an idiot but it's very hard.

Homelessness has existed in California for decades, for a couple of varying reasons. But since the 1990s...you could say that roughly three reasons drove doubling and tripling of the issue. With the eviction business changing in July, I’d expect another doubling of the problem over the next twelve months.
You notice three unique factors in California:
1. A bunch of zero-talent/zero-skill people made the decision in the past 30 years to move out to California and find the ‘dream’. Job-wise, they got low-income jobs, and eventually lost those jobs...moving to the street and thinking they’d recover (they didn’t).
2. Drug habits were allowed to expand out, so people lost jobs and apartments when they couldn’t handle reality.
3. The California population of paranoid schizophrenics grew over the decades, and those who refused medication were allowed to roam.
There is no potential recovery plan, or possible resolutions. More people will leave the state over the next decade.

$80k gross in a coastal state is inadequate unfortunately. And that’s a moderate salary for just one person. Are they both working?

Lots of working class jobs but the wages are insufficient to support a family. So the attrition is bound to continue. Remote work will speed the exodus. Only the uber wealthy and homeless will end up remaining. Get the popcorn.

As much as I would like to believe they will learn... I fear their leftward ways are too hard to change. I’m old enough to look back and remember all the youthful times where you “hope” for such things... Only to be confronted with hard cold reality. The REALITY is that these people are fleeing crapholes that they created, more likely than not, they will simply keep crapping the bed as they’ve always done. After a certain age, your “hoping” days regarding other people behavior just becomes bitter acceptance. “hope” is Plato, “truth” is Aristotle. With Plato... I’m gonna end up scraping poo off my feet. With Aristotle... I know that there is poo in the yard and I take care NOT to step in it!

The sad truth is that far too many of those fleeing Blue states are either so stupid or insane that these morons bring their stupid politics WITH them, turning their new community blue. Stay put, clean up your own area and throw out the blood-suckers. How do you find out who they are?
Here ya’ go. Brace for some shocks.
If you’re reading this, you are almost certainly someone who loves America, the IDEA and the PLACE.
Speaking of “ideas”, I had one this morning despite the fact that it exceeded my natural limit of one idea every decade.
While cruising Twitter in my constant effort to get thrown off, I stumbled across a fellow who posted this:
“I recently asked Patriots to send me the names of Senators that they felt we could “Trust”. Here are the names that got the most votes.”
He listed 14 names from Josh Hawley to Joni Ernst.
Grasping an opportunity “educate” these fellow citizens, those who responded to his list received this message (as an example) from me:
https://thenewamerican.com/freedom-index/#/
Scored on Constitutional limits, fiscal responsibility, national sovereignty, and avoiding foreign entanglements. The percentages below are cumulative scores based on key votes from 2001 to 2020.
ERNST:20%
It occurred to me that ONE of the MAJOR PROBLEMS we face is too many citizens DO NOT KNOW HOW THEIR GUYS AND GALS (Yep, I’m a sexist!) ARE MISBEHAVING IN DC while they tell US another story.
Just wondered if any of you good folks would like to begin using this two sentence blurb and the link to TRY to reach those with whom you have contact on social sites and email?
Stay safe and INFORMED!
And PLEASE SHARE THIS. If it’s not too late already, we MUST stop sending the deep state criminals LAUGHING AT US ALL THE WAY BACK TO OUR STATE CAPITOLS OR THE DC SWAMP.
Insanity is defined as doing the same things over and over while expecting a DIFFERENT RESULT!

I suspect sinister motives by rich and powerful people. They are simply using government to run people off of property they covet so that they can have it on the cheap. This is soros territory. he is an evil scumbag that doesn’t wait around to take financial advantage of situations. soros is an evil person who creates situations at others’ loss for his gain. If he is NOT the devil incarnate, he sure as hell works for him. The FACT that the federal government let him into this country should tell you all you need to know about the federal government.

Funny how liberal idiots sh!t where the eat and then move on to do the same thing elsewhere. They’re like locusts. They destroy one state and move on to destroy another. New Yorkers are probably the worst closely followed by Kalifornians

These folks never learn. They just bring their cancer to healthy states to endanger them. We are going thru an influx of Californians in Arizona. Ran into a few and I can tell you that the liberal ones are clueless that they destroyed their state. The conservative Californians stayed conservative in Az. The liberal ones, unfortunately the majority, did not.
