Sperry was all over the Clinton administration scandals in the 1990s. His problem was that he reported for WorldNetDaily at the time. Even though WND championed the White House accreditation of the then-emerging "alternative" news sources, it was smeared as a tabloid news site. However, they were key in reporting on the Gore family in Tennessee, which I believe turned the 2000 election against Al Gore.
