To: Faith Presses On

I remember the Tiananmen Square protests. I remember the crowds created a statue, named “The Goddess of Democracy” which was a rallying point for the protesters. The Goddess statue reminded many of the Statue of Liberty.

But as we know from history, communism survives only through the imposition of force to crush dissent. And that’s what happened on that tragic June 4, 1989.

Very true.

And now today we have Microsoft Bing apparently censoring Image results for “Tank man.” I tried it, and it doesn’t bring any image results. And even with “Tiananmen” and “tank man,” it just brings pictures of soldiers leisurely standing around Tiananmen Square.
