Lived in container rooms in Iraq, some even had indoor plumbing, but usually had to go to a separate facility. Called them Chu’s (containerized housing unit).
I’ve seen start up business office work spaces made up of repurposed shipping container rooms. They can be redone nicely into 10 x 10 or whatever private offices. One place I saw was converted from a gym. They stacked the containers two high and put in stairs/elevator.
