The can of worms is likely what many of us, myself included, believe. That is, covid-19 is the result of a China-Democrat coordinated effort.
Dems funded it, China unleased it, Dems covered it up with their media allies.
One might expect that the US government had been sponsoring various virus projects outside of the US for twenty years, and that half of these BIG outbreaks lead back to contaminated labs and poor security. They want the research to continue....just not within the US.
The entire federal apparatus we call a government is 90% worms and 10% can. Get it done.

That was Justice Roberts’ excuse in refusing to hear cases about the 2020 election.
