Footage showed people fleeing from the scene as sirens were overhead inside of the mall.
Some people claimed to have been evacuated from a movie theatre inside the mall.
Police confirmed that there was a "shooting incident" at the mall and that officers were at the scene.
They confirmed that one person is in custody following the shooting and that no victims have yet been located.

There seem to be a load of shootings recently.
Local radio still saying no victims.
Nothing about the shooter except they caught him/her.

They are pushing an onerous gun control plan. It won’t get any traction unless there are shootings all over the place. Then media demands government “do something”.

There is nothing there that interests me except the fountain in the southeast corner of the mall.

Only “store” I like at Northpark is Maggiano’s and I don’t even know if it’s still there. Haven’t been up there in a decade
You should watch “True Stories” from 1986. Great mall scene in that movie.
It’s still there. Right next to Corner Bakery. That’s my favorite mall when I’m in Dallas. Hate this stuff.
North Park is a very beautiful and upscale mall in Dallas. It’s my all time favorite mall.
Unfortunately, very near on the other side of Central expressway has become extremely poor and dangerous.

I am not a fan of Dallas in spite of my moniker. I’m a Fort Worth girl.
Northpark was always too high end for me. I’m not a shopper and strolling through a mall, well it’s far too many people who get in my way :)
But I’m glad to hear Maggiano’s is still there. Best chopped salad and stuffed mushroom.
Some malls get ruined when public transportation establishes routes from ‘sketchy’ areas right to the mall’s doorstep. Why do they have such routes?—not having them is deemed racist.
Some malls, knowing this, fight the routes tooth and nail—that’s, of course, racist as well.
That big haired blonde looks a tad like a girlfriend from yesteryears gone by.
The DC democrats salivate as they see their gun confiscation more likely with every one of these shootings. Orchestrated increase in mass shootings? This exact scenario has played out in every communist dictated country. Increasing the public fear factor ripens the push of; “we (communist democrats) want everybody to feel safe so we must take these weapons of war off the streets and we must begin buy back programs across this country to reward those who personally own firearms to turn them in in order to save this country!” Disarming the American citizen is not going to eliminate evil as the DC communists democrats would hope you believe.
