Under-18s have used fake identification to set up accounts, and police say a 14-year-old used a grandmother's passport.
The UK's most senior police officer for child protection also says children are being "exploited" on the platform.
OnlyFans says its age verification systems go over and above regulatory requirements.
The platform has more than a million "creators", who share video clips, photos and messages directly to subscribers on a monthly basis. Teaser videos or photographs for accounts are often promoted on Twitter and Instagram.
In return for hosting the material, OnlyFans takes a 20% share of all payments.

Schools have shared anonymous reports of pupils using the site, including a 16-year-old who boasted to her careers adviser about the amount of money she made on the site, and showed off her "exuberant" spending on Instagram.
Underage creators and users of the site include victims of prior sexual abuse and those with mental health issues and suicidal thoughts, according to Childline counsellor notes.
UK police forces say children have complained about their images being uploaded to the site without consent, and one 17-year-old reported being blackmailed.
Missing children are appearing in OnlyFans videos, according to a US watchdog, which also says it has received reports of child sexual exploitation.

Also, if kids just hitting puberty want porn, they can get it. From parents’ or older siblings’ old stashes to the internet, it’s readily available. I was perusing it when I hit puberty too, and I’m not a slutty psycho.
However, it’s not the website’s fault that bad actors are abusing kids and putting it online. They’re doing what they can, and that is blocking/removing the content when it’s found. It also sounds like aside from fingerprint ID, they trying really hard to exclude minors, but loopholes exist everywhere.
I’d rather see censorship of demo Commie Nazi Big Lie propaganda campaigns — far more destructive.

That’s why Tumblr has became a has-been. Removed all adult content from their service. I’m surprised it’s still in business as people left in droves.
If people want to see cute cat videos, they go to YouTube. People go to sites like Tumblr and OnlyFans to get what they can’t get elsewhere.
These sites have made it much too easy to get into p*rn. Any girl that is young and attractive can sign up for these pages and immediately make a very healthy income with little effort. Even for well raised girls it is very tempting.

I knew a woman who gave her 13 year old son a smart phone for Christmas. Within 15 minutes of giving him the phone she caught him looking a hard core porn.
