Former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R) will headline a fundraiser for Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) on Monday, Politico reports.
The big picture: "It’s a decisive move against ex-President Donald Trump, who has set his sights on Republicans who voted to impeach him," Politico writes.
Kinzinger was one of the 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 insurrection, and has been one of the GOP's most prominent critics of the ex-president.
Ryan in November called on Trump to accept the presidential election results and "embrace the transfer of power." The former speaker also told Republicans in 2016 that they "should feel free to abandon Trump."

Sorry about that...clearly put things in the wrong spot!
It would be funny if Donald Trump himself crashed that meeting. Right when Paul Ryan is onstage behind a podium, Trump walks in unannounced, and quietly sits down in the front row. I can her Paul stammering now.
“We, we, we have an unexpected guest, it appears!”
If you hit the abuse button and ask nice,a mod will fix your headline for you.
If anyone wonders why the GOP hobbled the first two years of the Trump term, look no further than Paul Ryan.
GOP is useless...at the federal level
Correction: on all levels. Only a fool would vote GOP today.
Ryan has no popularity in the GOP and even less with MAGA. In fact, I bet Karl Rove is more popular than Ryan.
You are free to stop complaining and form your own party. See how far you go with that.
The focus here should be that it is imperative to get Kinzinger out of office as soon as possible. What a turd.
No interest in doing so. I've done what every other sane American should be and gone independent. Screw the GOP.
