Don’t skip over the secession part....
“And why would any country possibly go along with this idiotic proposal?”
Just watch.

Since you brought it up, it’s interesting how the United States is always preaching self-determination to other countries. Stay or break away - let the people decide!
But try it here, and Billy Sherman comes knocking at your door.
New World Order here we come, just as Daddy Bush dreamed.....
Notice they don’t advocate for a minimum wage, which would benefit US workers competing with slave labor. Not that Minimum wages are a great idea or that it could really be enforced.

Bingo!
voters can express their pleasure via their Senator and remove them from office.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh sure, like Flimsey Grahamnesty was removed from office for voting for amnesty and a permanent Democrat majority THREE times, so far.
Corporations do not pay taxes. Consumers who purchase goods and services from corporations pay taxes. If the US was serious about being competitive, it would eliminate all business taxes. Imagine being the only industrialized country in the world that had no business taxes. Everyone would want to locate their businesses here and we could pick and choose who is allowed to setup shop here.
Exactly.
If the American worker’s wages were of their concern then Nike and others would relocate shop back to USA.
I am a former free trader. I am so because I am observant. It does not work. If you get slammed, I have your back brother. If people do not want to be intelligent and rationally analyze what works and does work then they are not smart enough to make a cogent argument to support there position.
That was a nice way of saying free traders are stupid shits.
Taxation without representation turns nations into colonies.
I’ll bet 50 wold vote for it right now. The 17 GOP decepticons will be right behind them.
Should be 100% for any company that sends jobs overseas to India or Communist China or brings in H1Bs and other work visa holders into the US
So much for a free market.
Notice they don’t advocate for a minimum wage, ...
Agree. Get them all to do a global minimum wage and then get back with us with the nonsense global tax.
I am sure we’ll be collecting a lot of tax dollars out of Sudan and Somalia. That of course is sarcasm. It’s 100% a safe bet that’s where all our money will be going.
So if all of the nations actually do this (which is highly unlikely - why would an island tax haven slit its own economic throat?), will the US rescind the tax on Controlled Foreign Corporations (where foreign companies controlled 50% or more by US citizens or residents have the pro rata share of company income owned by US taxpayers taxed at individual rates EACH YEAR)?????
I’m betting not - our government is one of only 2 nations on the planet that tax their citizens and (legal) residents on their worldwide income, regardless of where the income is earned. The other nation - check out the fine company that we’re in here - is ... Eritrea. So all civilized nations (and virtually every non-civilized one) have the decency to only tax economic activity that takes place within their own borders. You literally have to renounce your citizenship to escape the IRS, even if all of your income is made overseas, and you haven’t set foot in the US for decades. That’s just wrong!
Notice how this presstitute leads with a claim that the treasury is proposing it, as if it is from some generic concensus, in order to avoid direcly implicating the Biden-Harris admin.
Sure looks that way.
Look at all the folks who were willin to fall for the climate hoax... the carbon credit scheme was a way to collect money for a world government.
So much for “no taxation without representation.”
The NWO banksters won’t be content until everyone but them is poor and starving.
Democrats rub their hands with Glee.
