I have never been chased out of a final exam because I refused to give out the correct answers.
I have never been beaten because I refused to give someone my in-class notes.
I have never been given a tuition break or have been given grant money because my parents worked.
I have never free-loaded on the system by having babies I could not raise or afford on my own.
Funny, I’m only a little bit privileged, but I worked my @ss off to make sure that my kids had more privilege than I did. I thought that’s how it was supposed to be.
I bought new clothes this year....socks and undergarments. They’ll last me for 5 years at least.
