I don’t think it is a bad thing for people to know and understand their heritage, but I feel it is far more important to be “An American” than it is to five generations removed from Armenia or Italy, or eight generations removed from somewhere in Africa and view it through a rose colored lens.
That is generally what I view that statue as, people looking at a place they have no personal knowledge of and are centuries removed from in this idealistic light.
The United States is by far the most racially mixed country in the world, and the least racist of its kind. Or, at least, used to be, before the Left took over.
I was listening to Candace Owens the other day, and she had a young black woman on her show who had been from either Rhodesia or Zimbabwe (I don’t recall) but she said there wasn’t any level of intermarriage between the races there. It wasn’t even to the point people thought about it, it was simply not done.
When she came to the United States, she was nonplussed and a bit taken aback to have white men interested in her and hitting on her...
That is hideous, just hideous. Topple that piece of crap.
It looks like a Lewis Carroll illustration from Alice in Wonderland. The drawing was of a giant headed white baby.
Now for the proverbial eye cleansing, I give you a real artifact of culture from Africa. This piece will get you out of your seat for sure.
It’s part of the progressive “satantic” worship culture.
“....artist Sanford Biggers’ Oracle, a 25-foot-tall, 15,280-pound bronze sculpture. Unveiled last week, the work depicts a person or deity with an enormous head who sits majestically on a throne in front of Rockefeller Center’s Fifth Avenue entrance.
Oracle is the latest entry in Biggers’ Chimera series, which merges European statues and African masks in an interrogation of sculptural art’s history and power......
.... he drew inspiration from the ancient Greek Temple of Zeus and African religious art....”

Well, at least it is not ZARDOZ.
“Is head size indicative of inflated self worth?”
VERY GOOD!
Let me repeat that... already did.
“All it needs it a malt liquor”
“And a pack of Kools.”
Some weed and a “hoody”.
And a cheap 9mm.
