I find Presidential Historians to be generally Leftwing and about as impressive as Fauci.
Now they invoke Reagan after speaking ill of Trump for 5 years.
Shirley is one of the good ones, so I don’t discount his opinion...just disagree.
He has studied and written a ton about Reagan, knew him well. May have even worked for him in some capacity, iirc.
Back in RR’s day, politics operated with some small degree of comity, as opposed to now when there is none, nada, zero.
Nor is Cheney being tossed from Congress, (Wyomans will take care of that), just from leadership who know they can’t succeed without some 74M voters who love DjT.
His is one man’s opinion, but we’ll never really know.
