Now that I’m much older, I’m with full understanding why the president needs to be at least 35 years old.

That means getting them out of politics and back into the classroom. It means fewer young activists, fewer young Democrats, fewer young Republicans, and more young learners and thinkers whose minds are open and whose political convictions have not yet crystallized.

Because politics is much like hell on earth? It’s soul sucking and puts you in contact with the worst of humanity?

We need to slow American young people down as well. We need to give them time to percolate and deliberate, to dispatch their bad ideas and refine their good ideas into better ones.

We? As in "Americans"? The radical left is pushing young people into politics from the time they're toddlers. The far left already owns the schools, media and culture, and they are using them to radicalize youth. This intellectual appeal to entrenched and dedicated ideologues is a waste of time. Literally and figuratively, they have built an army, and you are NOT going to convince them not to use it.

Television “allowed them to know that other baby boomers were sharing their experiences,”

Such as learning how to sing the theme song to Davy Crockett.

Speaking as a former young person from a previous century it is a bad idea because almost all young people are idiots.

"Why Pushing Young People Into Politics Is A Recipe For Disaster"

It's already happened, so we have no choice but to educate them ourselves and on our own time.
