My friend who is a psychiatrist told me that people keep asking for handicap parking permits.
She keeps telling them
MENTAL DISABILITY DOES NOT QUALIFY A PERSON AS HANDICAPPED FOR PARKING PERMITS!
She should let them fill out a “I’m mental and should not be driving “ form and have their licenses suspended.
I see handicapped spots designated all over the crappiest areas of towns that are congested/have limited parking - yet the drivers seem fine. It has become a way to secure parking in areas with little of it.
it use to get you a room at an institution though.
