Where to get straight news: There can be no doubt that the drive-by media are pure propagandists. I propose that there are several moves we can make immediately.

There can be no doubt that the drive-by media are pure propagandists.  "Orange Man Bad" was just the latest installment in the slander campaign against patriots by those who have mostly achieved little, built little, and hate those who actually work to build better lives.  Their campaign began as early as Woodrow Wilson's tenure, with early (1913) moves to concentrate power in D.C. through the income tax and in big banks with the Federal Reserve.

This profound opposition became obvious after the departure of Dwight Eisenhower.  With each succeeding Republican, new language was employed.  Ronald Reagan was demeaned as an "amiable dunce."  The Bushes proved themselves to be swamp-dwellers but were similarly slimed, with W's verbal malapropisms splattered all over the headlines.  When that became passé, the vocal assault accelerated, causing rational observers to wonder how far the left can go.  (Hint: There is no limit!)  Trump Derangement Syndrome led to an explosion of "racist," "homophobic," and similar slurs, attempting to paint patriotic Americans as evil.

Along the way, various "news" outlets such as the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, and others dropped any pretense of being purveyors of news.  As Project Veritas has shown on multiple occasions, these entities are literally propagandists — comrades of the Democratic Party.  This leaves us with a problem.  How are concerned Americans to get their hands and eyes on the truth of what's happening?  I propose that there are several moves we can make immediately.

First, never use Google to search.  It does two evil things.  First, it mines your searches to use them for saleable purposes.  You become the product.  Second, it rarely allows you to find anything by any conservative source.  Breitbart News has been a frequent victim of Google's bias.

They’ve embarrassed themselves on their coverage and analysis of the shooting of the girl with the apostrophe in her name.

Very good, highly recommended bibliographic essay. I've actually been giving this very topic a lot of thought recently as my family, especially my impressionable sons are getting 99% of their news from CNN, MSNBC, Yahoo, etc. and have an increasingly distorted view of things. Some of the sites listed in this bibliographic essay, as one son quickly points out in recent discussions, have their problems. Epoch Times, for example is tied to Falun Gong. Personally I am not sure that is a problem any more than Washingtime Times, previously owned by Sun Myung Moon, That didn't bother me then, not sure Falun Gong bothers me now. What does bother me is Epoch Times and too many others going to paywalls. I skip them and move on. I like RealClearPolitics because it shares opposing viewpoints.

I need to read through the bibliographic essay and think about it further.

You have to scan all possible non-leftist sources, including those that include quite a bit of hyperbole and raving. Then you have to try to put the puzzle pieces together and make some guesses.

This author seems a little late to the game.

A very useful post. Some of the sites I already visit regularly, but there are other sites named that I never heard of. Thanks for posting this.

> Epoch Times and too many others going to paywalls

They have a really excellent web rendition of the entire daily and weekend paper.

It is an exceptional value at $5/month.

America needs a network and newspaper renewal. NBC and the NY Slimes are public companies. They need to be purchased by groups committed to honesty and conservative values. But nobody is will as the future is not bright for these dinosaur news outlets. So we need competition in the emerging outlets. AND, we need school reform so kids don’t grow up thinking the biggest problem they face is the climate.
